Adding a second email address to your LinkedIn account can provide extra security. If you ever get locked out of one email, you still have the secondary email.   1. Click Me in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Settings & Privacy.
  3. Click Sign in & security.
  4. Click Email addresses.
  5. Click Add email address.
  6. Enter a new email address and your account password.

  1. Log into https://www.linkedin.com/ in a web browser. You should see your feed.

  4. This is in the left panel.
  5. This is the first option underneath the Account access header.
  6. You can find this button below your primary email address.
    • You may be asked to verify your primary email address first. If you are, enter the 6-digit code and click Submit.
  7. Make sure to spell the new email address correctly; a confirmation link will be sent.
  8. This is the blue button.
  9. This will be sent to the new email address. Clicking it will confirm the email, and it will be added as a secondary email for your LinkedIn account.
    • To make the new email your primary email, click Make primary next to the email.
    • If you want to change your email, make the new email primary, and then tap Delete next to the old email.
