Quickly switch your activity status to Invisible to use Discord offline on PC or mobile

Do you want to use Discord without showing your online status? Luckily, Discord allows you to appear Invisible, which means you can use the application normally without being seen by other users. This can give you some privacy when you want to stay off the grid but don't want to lose any updates in your servers or community. Currently, you're unable to change your status in specific servers or to certain users; your status changes will reflect globally. This wikiHow will show you how to go offline in Discord using your iPhone, Android, Windows, or Mac.

Things You Should Know

  • On desktop, click your user ID. Hover over your current status, and then click "Invisible".
  • On mobile, tap "☰" or swipe right. Tap your user icon → "Set Status" → "Invisible".
  • Appearing Invisible on either desktop or mobile will reflect in all platforms.
