This wikiHow teaches you how to find your iPhone’s ICCID, or SIM number.

  1. It's an app with gray cogs usually found on your home screen, but you may find it in a folder labeled “Utilities.”[1]

    • Knowing your ICCID allows you to check the SIM card's compatibility to another device you want to switch to.[2] If it isn't compatible, you will have to get a new SIM card.

    It's already on your phone. Your iPhone's SIM number is technically called the ICCID, which stands for Integrated Circuit Card Identifier. It usually consists of 19 or 20 characters, and is both printed on your SIM card and stored inside it. The ICCID is a unique serial number and is specific to your SIM card.
