Easily find out if your new iPhone was stolen with online registries
PDF download Download Article

This wikiHow teaches you how to see if a used iPhone which you purchased was stolen by checking the IMEI and MEID against online registries. Keep in mind that, while these methods will work if the iPhone's owner has reported it as lost or stolen, there is no technical way to determine whether or not an unreported iPhone is stolen.
