Click the WiFi icon.

Select a network to connect to.

Click the "Connect" button.

Enter the network's password if prompted.

1. Type the Wi-Fi password to connect. Some networks allow you to connect by pressing a button on the router. If this is the case, a message explaining this will show in the connection box.

Click "OK" to initiate the connection.

  Try rebooting the cablemodem. After it's fully reset, do a "Refresh" on the wireless network list. If it still doesn't show up, reboot your computer.

  What Windows do you have? Also, your network adapter might not be compatible with WiFi. You might need to either buy a new network card or check if there is a specific adapter that might be used.
