Dark feminine energy is all the rage on TikTok, but what exactly does that phrase mean? Is dark feminine energy a bad thing, and should you consider tapping into your own “dark” side? In this article, we’ll shed light on the shadowy subject of dark feminine energy by explaining what it means, where it comes from, and how to harness it in a healthy way. If you’re ready to learn more and explore yourself on a deeper level, scroll on down.
Things You Should Know
- Dark feminine energy is the “shadow” side of the divine feminine, which includes subconscious thoughts, emotional impulses, and primal instincts.
- While some consider dark feminine traits to be undesirable or aggressive, they aren’t inherently “bad” or “evil.”
- To access dark feminine energy, try spending time in nature, journaling, and meditation. Work on accepting your "dark” side rather than repressing it.
- Honoring dark feminine traits is a way to feel more empowered and whole. If embracing dark femininity doesn't feel right for you, though, that's totally okay.

Spiritual DirectorIf there's a safe way to do it, it would probably be calling upon a goddess or someone that embodies that type of energy. But I would warn anybody with any dark energy to remember it's not yours. You're in control, but not really. Anytime you let anything out into the world, you're still bound to what it does, even if you don't have control of it anymore. Even if your intention wasn't for it to do that thing, you're still responsible for it. -
QuestionIs dark feminine a bad thing?Serena KuranCommunity AnswerNo, it's not. Dark does mean it's bad. It just means it's stronger than light.
