Social Media Security ExpertInstagram maintains login logs as a necessity. When referring to logs, it is important to understand that they involve documenting actions taken. In the case of a login, this entails recording who logged in, the time of login, and the location. The term "log" encompasses the comprehensive recording of all user activities, such as pressing buttons or scrolling. Both login and general activity logs are kept by Instagram, a practice mandated by GDPR regulations.
