If you have an old Apple ID or secondary account you no longer need, you can submit a request to delete it. Keep in mind that this is permanent, so back up all the content and information associated with your account beforehand. You can also temporarily deactivate your account. Go to https://privacy.apple.com/ in a web browser. You can use a desktop or mobile account. Currently, there's no way to delete your account through an Apple device.

Sign in with the Apple ID. Make sure this is the Apple ID you want to delete.
- You'll be redirected to the Manage your data page. This is also where you can obtain a copy of your data or transfer it to another service.

Select Request to delete your account. You may need to scroll down to see this option. This is the small text underneath the Delete your account header.
- If you want to disable your account temporarily, select Temporarily deactivate your account instead.

Select a reason and select Continue. You'll need to scroll down and read through Apple's warnings about deleting.
