Do you want to play Fortnite with a friend using split-screen? If you have two controllers and a stable internet connection, you can play couch co-op with another person. While this feature is not yet available on the Switch, PC, or mobile, you can use a PlayStation or Xbox console. Keep in mind you won't be able to share inventory with this method. This wikiHow will show you how to do split-screen mode on Fortnite using a PS4, PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X/S.
Things You Should Know
- Split-screen is only available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. It must be couch co-op on one console.
- Launch a duos or squad game. Turn on a second controller and select a user account.
- In Fortnite, hold "X" (PlayStation) or "A" (Xbox) to sign player 2 in. When the game starts, it will be in split-screen.

Select Ready. This will be Triangle (PlayStation) or Y (Xbox).
