Open the WeChat app on your device. The WeChat icon looks like two white speech balloons in a green box on your Apps menu. WeChat will open up to a list of your recent chat conversations.
- If WeChat opens up to a chat, tap the back button to go back to your chats list.

Tap a chat conversation. This will open the conversation in full-screen. You can open a personal or group chat from your chats list.Advertisement

Tap the video you want to save. Find the video you want to save in the conversation, and tap the chat message with the video in it. This will open and play the video in full-screen.

Tap and hold the playing video. While the video is playing, tap and hold your screen to open a menu and see your options.

Tap Save Video on the menu. This will save the video to your device's image and video gallery. You will see a confirmation message on your screen with the exact location where the video file is saved on your device.
