Alright- you are drawing a cat. Four legs, whiskers, pointy ears, and a long tail. But how do you draw the eyes? This wikiHow will help you draw a realistic cat eye!
Steps
-
1Draw two curved lines.
- The top line should curve down, while the bottom line should curve up.
- Make sure that one of lines is longer than the other at the front of the eye.
-
2Draw an oval inside of the lines. Erase the ones going out of the eye after.
- Cats' eyes can become narrow or wide depending on their emotions or environmental lighting. However, their pupils are always vertical slits when narrowed.

- You can finish here if you only want to create a line drawing.
-
6Color it with more shading of the color.
-
7Blend the colors a bit.
- If you are using a digital program, you can use the blur tool, airbrush tool or finger tool.
-
8Add some shading and lighting and you're done!
-
9You can add a single white dot for a strong highlight, or gently erase part of the pupil to show the reflection of light.
