Become familiar with the basic anatomy of each character - examine the shape of the arms and legs, as well as the shape of the head. Practice drawing these from the front and side perspectives, as well as 3/4 views and up/down views, if you like. Try playing with different perspectives once you're confident enough. Keep practicing, and you'll get it!

To draw Sonic characters, start by learning how to sketch Sonic himself. First, sketch a big circle and a smaller circle attached to each other. Then, lightly sketch the position of the legs, body, and ears. Then, add the shapes for the feet, hands, gloves, socks, and quills. Finally, sketch in facial details like the eyes and nose. Once your sketch is complete, add color to bring your drawing to life! For tips on drawing other characters, like Tails and Knuckles, read on!
