   Go to Santalune City (it is one of the very first places you visit).

   Go to the Pokémon Center and buy some Poke Balls at the Poke Mart area. Make sure you have enough Poke-dollars. If you don't, sell some of the items you have that you don't intend to use.

   Once you have some Pokeballs, go to Santalune Forest (The forest between Routes 2 and 3).

   Look through the tall grass. It is rare, but it may seem easy for some. If you're lucky, you could find the cute little Pokémon mascot Pikachu!

• If you have a Pokémon with the Pickup ability in your party, you may be able to pick up Poke Balls, or items that you can sell at the Poke Mart. Zigzagoon and Bunnelby are available to catch in Route 2 if you want a Pokémon with Pickup.
