If you aren’t careful and you accidentally noclip out of reality, you may find yourself transported to the Backrooms—an anomalous, liminal space for things that slip out of the real world. In the Backrooms you’ll find nothing but endless, empty office spaces, moist carpet, and the buzz of fluorescent lights. However, there may be more to it—depending on how deep you go. Are you a brave explorer looking to see how deep the rabbit hole goes? If so, we’ll help you break in. Just know that you do this at your own risk.
Just to be clear, the Backrooms are not real. This is based on the collective storytelling project that was inspired by a creepypasta.
Things You Should Know
- Look for a wall that’s the wrong color or seems “off” and think pleasant thoughts as you lean against it to get into the Backrooms.
- You’ll only break into the Backrooms if you “noclip” through the wall the same way your character might noclip through a wall in a video game.
- If you’re going to try entering the Backrooms, prepare for the trip. The Backrooms are dangerous and there’s no telling when (or if) you’ll be home.
