Do you want to hide your phone number on your Samsung Galaxy? Fortunately, you can hide your number with a tap of a few buttons. This wikiHow article teaches you how to prevent the person you’re calling from seeing your phone number when you're using a Samsung Galaxy. Please note that this feature is not available in every region, and some carriers require you to have your caller ID showing.

Quick Steps

  1. Open the Phone app.
  2. Tap the More menu.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Supplementary services.
  5. Tap Show your caller ID to see more options.
  6. Tap Never to hide your phone number on Samsung Galaxy.
  1. It’s the green icon with a white phone receiver. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.
  2. The "More" menu has three dots in a vertical line. You'll see it at the top-right corner of the screen.

  3. This will expand the settings for the Phone app.
  4. You might need to scroll down the Settings menu to find it.
    • This menu can be "More Settings" instead.
  5. You'll see the current setting in green text below this menu header.[1]
  6. Now your caller ID won't display to others when you call them.
    • If you have a second SIM card in your phone, you can also hide your caller ID for that phone number using the "Show your caller ID" under the "SIM card 2" header.
    • You can also use *67 to make a call private. Dialing this code is temporary, so your next call will show your caller ID unless you dial *67 again.
    • If you don't have a Samsung Galaxy, you can still hide your number. This wikiHow article shows you how!

You can try to contact your mobile phone carrier. They might be able to provide a way to hide your phone number while calling. However, not all carriers and providers support this method.
