If you want to post pictures on Discord, you can use the drag-and-drop feature or browse your computer's files. Keep in mind that files must be under 25 MB if you don't have a Nitro subscription. This wikiHow will show you how to post images in a Discord chat on a PC or Mac.

Open the Discord app. Discord is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.[1]

Navigate to a server or Direct Message. Click a server from the left panel, or click a recent Direct Message to open it.
- You can start a server or join one.
- If you're posting an image to a server that isn't yours, you must have permission to upload files. If you don't, you won't be able to upload the image.

Drag and drop an image into the Discord window. This is easiest when the file is nearby, such as in another open window or on your desktop.[2]
- To manually upload a photo from your files:
- Double-click the + icon in the chat field.
- Locate the image you want to send and select it.
- Click Open.
- Images must be 25 MB or smaller. If you have Discord Nitro, you'll have a higher upload limit.

Add a spoiler tag or modification (optional). If the image has content that others may not want to see or may need a warning, click the eyeball icon in the top-right corner of the image. This will blur the image until the user clicks it.

- To delete the photo from your draft, click the red trash can icon.
