PDF download Download Article

Do you want to share a link on Instagram that people can click on? Putting a link in your Instagram bio is an easy way to do this, especially since Instagram doesn't allow clickable URLs in posts. Another great way to share a clickable link is on your Instagram Story. Both of these methods are available to any user, regardless of the number of followers or privacy settings. This wikiHow article will teach you how to put a clickable link in your Instagram bio and Story.

Things You Should Know

  • Put a link in your Instagram app on mobile by opening the mobile app, navigating to your profile, tapping "Edit Profile" and typing the link under the "Website" header.
  • On a computer, go to the Instagram site, navigate to your profile, click "Edit Profile" and paste or type the link under "Website."
  • If you don't want to add the link to your bio, add it to your Story instead!
