QuestionMy mouse pointer keeps freezing up. How can I fix this?Community AnswerTry cleaning the bottom of the mouse -- that might help. If not, try to move the mouse over a different area on the desk. Check that the batteries are working too, if it is a wireless mouse. If it still doesn't improve, it may need a good clean inside or it may need replacing.

QuestionMy computer is running too slow in Windows 10. How can I fix it for free?Community AnswerThere are many reasons for a slow-working computer: 1) Your Hard disk drive may be too fragmented. To avoid this use a defragmenting program (Windows Defrag, Defraggler, etc.) about once a month to "resort" the information. 2) You have way too many internet leftovers (cookies, temporary files, etc. ). Use CCleaner regularly. 3) You may have too many programs running at the same time at the computer start up. Disable the useless ones with Task Manager.

QuestionWhat do I do if my computer is not connecting to my network?Community AnswerDid it used to connect previously and stopped or is it a new addition? If it used to connect but stopped, try resetting your router. If a password was changed, make sure to update the new computer. Check the network card and its settings. Is the network dynamic or fixed IP? Make sure your configuration matches and properly update if a new IP. Is the network wireless? Make sure nothing is possibly blocking the signal. A new couch can sometimes interfere. Did you move the computer or router to a different location? More walls can affect the signal. Also, cable length can be a factor. How old is the set up? Cables get old. Maybe they need replacing.
