  • Question
Can I use a gel color or regular nail polish over natural dip powder?
    Community Answer

Yes. Dip powder nails are somewhere between a regular mani and fake nails. Instead of using UV rays to seal in the polish, the color comes from a pigmented powder. Dipping powder isn't the healthiest choice for natural nails.

You can paint over the top of the dipped nail extensions if they are still in decent condition. (Dip powders come in a wide range of colors like the “regular” liquid nail polish.)
