QuestionHow can I make a stocking without buying one?Community AnswerIf you have the fabric in the color that you like, then you can cut it in a stocking shape (draw the stocking shape on it, then cut). If you don't like sewing, you can try gluing it in place with fabric glue (which can take 5 to 15 hrs to dry). Once dried, it stays in place for years. Or you can sew it along the outline and then turn it inside out to reveal the stocking. Add a tab for hanging and it is all done. Or, just use a large, long sock (a clean one, of course!).
