Resetting your TI-84 calculator will wipe all data and programs from the device and restore the original factory settings. Most professors and teachers will require you to reset your TI-84 prior to taking exams to prevent you from accessing saved formulas and information.

How to Reset TI-84 Calculator

  1. Press the “2nd” button.
  2. Press “MEM.”
  3. Select “7: Reset.”
  4. Select “1: All Memory.”
  5. Press “2: Reset.”

    • Navigate to the official Texas instruments website at https://education.ti.com/en/us/products/computer_software/connectivity-software/ti-connect-software/tabs/overview#!.
