Things You Should Know

  • For a quick, full-screen capture, press Win + Prt Scr.
  • For a full-screen capture that you want to edit immediately, press Prt Scr and paste the capture into an image editor, like Paint.
  • If you want a choice of how to capture your screen, open the Snip & Sketch tool and choose a screenshot mode before capturing your window, screen, or selection.

Using Win + Prt Scr Keys

    • This is the fastest and easiest method for taking full-screen screenshots on Acer. You can do this if you have Windows 10 or 11 and on any Acer computer or laptop.

Using Xbox Game Bar

  1. This opens the Xbox Game Bar overlay that will even open if you're playing a game in full-screen mode.[8]
    • All Windows 10/11 computers come with Xbox Game Bar, so it's always an option if the other screenshot methods don't work for you!
  2. It displays "Capture" when you hover your mouse over it and prompts another window to open.
  3. It'll snap a screenshot, but you can also press Win + Alt + PRT SCR to screenshot with Xbox Gaming Bar overlay using a keyboard shortcut.[9]
