If you want to stand up for yourself but always feel the tears coming, you’re not alone. It can be really difficult and frustrating when crying becomes a major obstacle to expressing yourself—especially when you know that what you have to say is valid and important. If you want to get better at standing up for yourself without letting the tears flow, practice speaking firmly and authoritatively everywhere else in your life. You’ll get better over time!
