This article explains how to use a compressed paper mask as a DIY skin care tool for your face. Using the mask enables whatever facial product you use to be absorbed more effectively.
Steps
-
Soak the compressed mask paper in a liquid. Suitable liquid includes milk, egg, syrup or any other facial product. Leave until the soaked paper becomes swollen.
- Another nice alternative to soak the mask paper in is toner or floral water of your choice.

Skincare ProfessionalDo a good double cleanse. Apply toner. Maybe use lactic acid to plump it up a little. Give yourself a good massage with a mask. Do a creamy mask with upward strokes. Work on the drainage around the eyes to get the puffiness down. If you have a jade stone, you can work with those around the eyes too. A massage with a mask is going to give a glow, hydration, and will get the circulation going. -
QuestionHow often can I use this?Community AnswerPersonally, I would use this once or twice a week. It really depends on your skin type.
-
QuestionCan I just put it in water?Katalina ShapiroCommunity AnswerYes, but it won't give your skin the nutrients it needs to get that dewy look. You can try to rose water or some type of aloe solution.
Tips
-
The mask is made from natural cellulose fiber. The paper is dry and compressed; there isn’t any facial product embedded in the paper, so you need to prepare an additional facial product (such as egg, milk, syrup, clean water, etc.) when you use it.Thanks
