It’s really simple to understand for beginners, making it really enjoyable when you’re starting off. People are always kind, warm and helpful here, which is why it makes wikiHowing a highlight of my day. The community is spreading magic every moment and I’m so glad to be part of this. We’re planting one seed of knowledge at a time."
Their advice to new editors: "wikiHow is all for collaboration! Your edits build upon other users’ edits, and your edits will continue to be built on by other contributors. Don’t forget to start slow and start small! You may be in a hurry to get an article published or get a lot of messages, but that isn’t necessary. Start by doing little yet helpful activities like spellchecking, categorising articles, and trying out the activities on the Community Dashboard. Every little contribution makes a difference! Finally, don’t be afraid to ask someone for help. We’re all volunteers and will be over-the-moon excited to help you out. Just choose a friendly face from the crowd and ask away!"
