All About the Marvel Cinematic Universe
The very first Marvel comic may have debuted over 80 years ago in 1939, but there’s no denying that the Marvel universe has continued to live on in generations upon generations of fans. In 2008, the comic giant would undergo something of a cinematic renaissance with the release of Iron Man, which spearheaded the well-known Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Dozens upon dozens of movies later, the MCU shows no signs of slowing down.
From a narrative perspective, the MCU explores the interconnecting stories of its heroes through “phases” of movies.
