Making the Perfect Movie Night

You don’t need to hit the theater to get the perfect movie-watching experience. All you really need is a screen, some time, and willingness to be transported to another world. Check, check, and check! But why stop there? Here are a few simple steps and suggestions to boost your movie night from just another evening, to an evening worth remembering.

1. Choose your movie. Oh, look at that. We made a quiz to handle that for you! No more endlessly browsing your Netflix queue.

2. Phone a friend… or don’t! Itching for some heckling and banter? Or maybe you need someone to cling to when things get dicey for the characters on screen. Call up a friend and invite them over for a night in! But also don’t hesitate to play it solo. Sometimes we need time to ourselves to really absorb a quality film.

3. Get comfy. Put on your coziest pajamas or loungewear, snuggle into a blanket on your couch or cushy recliner, and make sure to bring plenty of popcorn and beverages. Maybe even order out!

4. Unplug! It’s easy to get distracted, which is why we suggest turning off your phones and devices. Not only is it good for your attention span, but it’ll help you get the most out of the carefully crafted story that hundreds of different people worked hard to make happen.

5. Enjoy!
