Narcissists are naturally drawn to empaths because an empath is everything a narcissist is not. A narcissist has no empathy while an empath has profound empathy. An empath cares about others and wants to help them while a narcissist cares only for themselves. When these two get together, their relationship tends to follow a rather predictable course.
