VNC enables you to remotely access and control your devices from internal and external networks. It's very helpful when you want to remotely administer a computer. However, there are a few times when you would like to prevent somebody from accessing your computer and/or monitor what you are doing. Luckily, you can block VNC.

Using the local computer firewall. (Windows)

  3. Then enter the ports used by your VNC. Default is 5900 and 5800.
  4. Hit Next all the way to the end of the wizard.
