It is advisable to update the admin password for your router at least twice a year. This differs from your Wi-Fi password. The admin password is responsible for managing access to the router's settings, and retaining the default setting poses a notable security risk.

For something more advanced, you can also set up a separate guest network that is also found in your router's Wi-Fi settings. This allows visitors to use your Wi-Fi without giving them access to your main network, protecting your devices and data.

Definitely. If someone is connecting to your WiFi network right now, then they probably know its password. To block this person from accessing your internet, update your WiFi password. That way, they won't know how to log back in. It's also likely that you'll notice better internet speed since someone else isn't using up your WiFi's bandwidth.
