Sometimes, you need to contact a news website or program with a comment or question. MSNBC News has a variety of ways you can reach them, based on the nature of your query. For a question, comment, or error report, use the contact form on their website. For a question to a specific editor, find the editor's email on MSNBC News' contact page. You can also get in touch with MSNBC News on social media or by mail.
Steps
-
Send an email to the editor at MSNBC News. The 2 main emails are msnbc.digital.editors@nbcuni.com and MSNBCTVinfo@nbcuni.com. Write your comment in an email and send it through to one of these editors. Make sure to include all the information you can about your comment, including things like the date and airtime of the show if you're commenting about a specific news show.[1]
-
Locate the page for MSNBC News on Facebook or Twitter. Find the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NBCNews/. Their Twitter page is at https://twitter.com/NBCNews. Find the "Send a Message" area. This will allow you to write to MSNBC News directly. Typically, it will pop up with a separate window where you can write your message.[2]
- Once you find the page and open the message window, type in your comment, question, or idea. Write out your comment in the message box. Try to include as much information as you can.[3]
- For instance, you could write, "I had a question about a recent news story. You cited a research study about medical marijuana on a news program on February 2, but you didn't provide any information about the study. Can you give me the title and authors of that study?" Send your message by hitting the "return" button.
- As long as you're signed in, you won't need to include any contact information because they will be able to contact you through your social media page.[4]

Write out your letter to MSNBC News. Legal notices must be sent through the mail. You can send comments through the mail, but you'll likely get a better response through the online contact form. It's best to type out the letter and print it to make it easier to read.
- Address legal notices to the editor-in-chief.
- Legal notices can include things like asking MSNBC News to take down video or photos that you own the rights to. It's usually best to go through a lawyer, though, if you don't know how to send a legal notice.
