Editing a Pivot Table

  1. Open the Excel project that includes the pivot table you want to edit.
  2. Create separate rows and columns to enter the data you want in your pivot table.
  3. Click on the Analyze tab on the Pivot Table tab, then select Change Data Source.
  4. Select the new data you entered, click OK, then refresh to view your changes.
  1. To do this, double-click the Excel document that contains your pivot table in Finder (Macs) or File Explorer (Windows). Alternatively, if you already have Excel open, click File > Open and select the file that has your pivot table.
