Do you want to try and find someone specific on Bumble? Perhaps you suspect that your significant other is using Bumble, or maybe there’s someone in particular that you want to match with. While there’s not a way to search for someone specific, we’ll give you a few tips for narrowing your pool of potential matches to be able to more easily find someone specific on Bumble.[1]
Finding Someone on Bumble
Set up a Bumble account if you don’t already have one. Then, go into your settings on the app, click “Travel” and input the person’s city or location. Choose a gender, age range, and any advanced filters (like height and education) that may help you narrow down your results. Then, start swiping to find the person.

Set up a Bumble account. If you don’t already have one, you should first set up a Bumble account.

Open the Bumble app. On your iPhone, iPad, or Android device, open up the Bumble app. The app icon is yellow with a white hexagon inside.Advertisement

Tap on the Settings icon. This is located in the top left corner of your screen.

Tap on Travel-to. You can locate this by scrolling down to the Location section.

Select your desired location. Now simply search for the city or location where the person you want to find is residing. This will activate Travel Mode, meaning your location on Bumble will be set to the selected city for seven days.
- If you are using an iOS device, this feature is only available with a Premium account.
- If you are using an Android, you will have to use five Bumble coins to enable Travel Mode.
- You can also try out a few other methods for changing your location on Bumble.

Select a gender. On the settings page, you have the option to select Men, Women, or Everyone. Tap on whichever option best applies to the person you want to find.[2]

Select an age range. On the settings page, scroll down to Age and adjust the slider to only include the age of the person you want to find.

Tap on the Filter button at the top right corner. This is located near the top of the settings page.

Set advanced filters. This page allows you to filter for more specifics, such as education, height, and astrological sign. Simply tap on a filter to apply it.[3]
