The IKELOS SMG is a popular and powerful weapon in Destiny 2. However, for those who missed out on the weapon during the Season of the Seraph, you now have a chance to get the IKELOS SMG via the Exotic Mission Rotator. You can also find this weapon being sold by Xur.

Things You Should Know

Complete the Operation: Seraph's Shield mission to unlock the IKELOS SMG.
You must own The Witch Queen expansion to play Operation: Seraph's Shield on 12/19, 1/9, 1/30, and 2/20.
You can also potentially find the IKELOS SMG being sold by Xur.

Use the Exotic Mission Rotator to replay Operation Seraph's Shield. The Exotic Mission Rotator is a new feature added in Season 22 that allows you to play old Exotic missions. The only prerequisite is that you must own the expansion or season associated with that mission.
- To play Operation: Seraph's Shield, you must own The Witch Queen. It was part of Season of the Seraph.^{[1]

Select Operation Seraph's Shield when it's available. As of right now, Bungie has announced the schedule for the first three months of rotating Exotic Missions. Operation: Seraph's Shield will be available on the following dates:
- December 19, 2023
- January 9, 2024
- January 30, 2024
- February 20, 2024

If you complete the mission on regular difficulty, legend difficulty, and two runs on any difficulty, you are guaranteed three red border drops. Additional completions will still give rewards, but they're not guaranteed to be red borders.

Xur's Shop

Check Xur's shop. From time to time, Xur will sell the IKELOS SMG in his shop. Xur is a vendor that sells Legendary and Exotic items, but can only be found on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. He also appears in a random location in the public sectors of the European Dead Zone, Titan, Io, and Nessus, or in the Tower.^{[2]
