Steps
-
Complete the Two and a Half Sims Quest and A Bump-y Ride Quest. Level 8 in the Sims Freeplay unlocks both of these quests, as well as pregnancy and babies.[1] Adult female sims can give birth once you’ve completed all of the tasks, which may include:

Purchase and place a crib in your home. Click on the home store in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, then select the infant section. Choose a crib and place it in a room of your choice.[2]
- If you’re placing the crib next to a wall, make sure the “roof” of the crib is facing the wall.

Click on the crib, hit the “+” icon, and choose “Pregnancy Journey.” Select the Sim you want to get pregnant in your household—they do not have to be married or engaged. Use 2 Lifestyle Points to purchase and start the Pregnancy Event.[3]
- The Pregnancy Event takes 9 days to complete, with each day representing one month of pregnancy.
-
Complete Daily Goals and Support Tasks to earn rewards. Every day, click on the pregnant person icon on top of your crib to access your Daily Goals and Support Tasks. If you complete all of them during the pregnancy, your new baby receives Baby Bonuses for life, like earning more XP and completing actions faster, and you get Maternity Tokens, which can be used to buy maternity clothes and nursery items.[4]
- Some Daily Goals include:
- Grab some cake from the fridge and eat it.
- Ask for a hug to help deal with mood swings.
- Sit on a couch and contemplate the upcoming pregnancy.
- Discuss ways to ease morning sickness with another Sim.
- Use a phone to call a doctor to your home to check on the baby’s progress.
- Some Support Tasks include:
- Knit woolies.

-
