MRE's (Meals Ready to Eat) are meals that the military eats while overseas or not at their regular stations. They are easy to store, compact, convenient, and contain all the vitamins and minerals your body needs.
Steps

Open up the MRE bag.[1]

Look for a plastic bag that is labeled with "heater".Advertisement

Fill the heater up with water until it goes to the fill line.[2]

Let the heater sit for a minute so it can heat up.
