    Please identify if it is a dead pixel or a stuck pixel. Dead pixel: probably just black. Stuck pixel: it is either one or two of the sub pixels is working [R,G,B] or just white. Also, know if your phone is still on the warranty period. If it is a stuck pixel you can fix it by using some apps that you can download, or if you are using Samsung just dial *#0*#. If it is a dead pixel it is hard to solve that problem because you can pay for it to be fixed but sooner or later it will show again.

    Try to factory reset your phone. This will wipe all of your data on your phone and restore it like when you first bought it. If that does not work you can download some applications to boost your rooted phone but be careful. Some rooted apps damage your phone. You cannot undo your rooted phone and when you rooted your phone the warranty does not apply anymore.

    If your phone is set to "Do Not Disturb," most or all of your phone calls will go directly to voicemail. So it's worth checking to see if the phone has been accidentally put in that mode.
