  • Question
The agitator coupler will not come out on model WWRE6260D0WW. I don't want to use too much force and risk breaking parts. What can I do?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Unscrew the bolt holding the agitator down. Once you remove the cap, look down into the barrel of the agitator. You should see a metal bolt or nut holding the entire agitator housing in place. Use a ratchet (with an extender) to unscrew and remove it.
  • Question

If the agitator won't spin, then your motor to transmission coupling is probably broken and needs to be replaced.
  • Question
What do I do if the agitator broke off at the base? Should I buy a new part or have it repaired? Which option is cheaper?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
It really depends on how much the parts and/or repair are in your area. You should probably have it replaced.
  • Question
What if water is leaking below the drum near the top of the shaft?
