If you have a page you usually open when you start Chrome, consider setting it as your startup or home page! You can set up both a startup page (which is the page to which Chrome opens) and a homepage (which is bound to Chrome's Home button) from within the Chrome settings menu. Here's how to set the Homepage in Google Chrome using your Windows or Mac computer or Android device.
Quick Steps
- Click ⋮.
- Click Settings.
- Click Appearance.
- Toggle on Show home button.
- Enter a URL in the Custom web address field.
Steps
-
Open Google Chrome. You can use Chrome on your Windows, Mac, or Linux computer.
- Your homepage is where you're redirected after clicking the house icon near the address bar. This is different from your startup page.[1]
- Chrome should update automatically. If it isn't updated, you can update it manually.
-
Click ⋮. This is in the top right corner of your Chrome window.Advertisement
