If you accidentally hid your bookmarks bar in Google Chrome, you can easily get it back in a few simple clicks. When this bar is active, you can see all your most recent bookmarks for easy access. Here's how to display bookmarks in Chrome using your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android.

Open Google Chrome.
Click ⋮ in the top-right corner.
Hover over Bookmarks and lists.
Click Show bookmarks bar.

Click ⋮. You'll see the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the Google Chrome browser window.
- A drop-down menu will open.

Hover over "Bookmarks and lists" and select Show bookmarks bar. This will open the bookmarks bar.^{[1]

- You can also use the keyboard shortcut: CTRL + Shift + B (Windows) or CMD + Shift + B (Mac).
- If you want to hide the bookmarks bar, right-click the bookmarks bar and click Show bookmarks bar to uncheck it.

Open the Google Chrome app. This looks like a multi-colored sphere with a blue center.
- Google Chrome is available for iOS in the App Store and for Android in the Google Play Store.
- There is no bookmarks bar in the mobile app, but you can still access all of your bookmarks.
On Android, this will be in the top-right corner. On iOS, this will be in the bottom-right corner.

Tap Bookmarks. This is next to the star icon. You may need to swipe left on the top icons to find it.
- If you have sync enabled, you'll also see your desktop bookmarks here. If you don't see it and it's enabled, make sure you're logged into the correct Google account.

How do I get a toolbar with icons on it to show?

Right click a Bookmark, click Edit, delete the name of the Bookmark, and you should now only have an icon. If you do this with all your bookmarks on the bookmark bar, you should first have much more room on the bar, and second a bar only with icons. You should of course only do this with Bookmarks that you know what icon belongs to it. Otherwise it will get confusing.
