How do I know if I need therapy?
This discussion is for readers who took the Do I Need Therapy Quiz.
This quiz said I should consider therapy, and some people have told me that before too. But like...how do you know if you actually need to go? Sure I get sad or angry sometimes, but so does everyone. I mostly feel fine.
I'm in the camp that everyone can benefit from therapy. Therapy helped equip me with the tools to better process and handle my emotions and I feel like my mental health is in a much better place
Do you find that your mental health is negatively impacting other areas of your life, like your work or relationships? If so, it could be helpful to get therapy
I'm also on the fence. But some of my friends said it really helped them so I'm thinking about starting.
