    Expert Answer
So long as you make it clear that you've been thinking about them, it shouldn't matter too much. The goal is to make someone think that you're into them without overplaying your hand, so either one works!

    Expert Answer
Yes! If you want to start a conversation, go ahead and do it. The "hard to get" thing isn't going to work over text and you should never assume that they don't want to talk to you just because they haven't reached out first.
  • Question
Why do people overuse exclamation points when texting?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Exclamation points are used to communicate tone. If someone texted you "Hey" it might come across as bored or disinterested. Saying "Hey!" instead is more lively and pleasant.
  • Question
    What if she's not interested?
    Community Answer
    Community Answer
Don't force it. If she doesn't want to talk, or wants to just want to keep the conversation friendly, respect that and either stop talking to her, or keep it platonic.
