When you post a Story on Snapchat, you can make it visible to friends, subscribers, and non-subscribers. Whether you're a content creator or a casual Snapchat user, you can easily check who viewed your Story in a few simple steps. This wikiHow will show you how to see who viewed and replied to your personal or Public Story on Snapchat for iPhone, iPad, or Android.

Things You Should Know

  • To see who viewed your personal Story, go to your profile and tap "My Story". Swipe up on the Snap to see up to 200 users who viewed it.
  • To see Public Story viewers, go to your profile and tap "My Public Profile". You can see the number of viewers underneath "Insight".
  • If there are any replies, tap the reply to see it in full and respond.

    • Use this method to check how many views your personal Story has and which added friends watched it.[2]
  2. This will be at the top-left corner, regardless of which tab you're in.
    • A new page will open.

  4. You'll see a list of up to 200 Snapchat users who viewed your Story. If you have over 200 viewers, you won't see any additional names, but you'll see a number.[4]

    • Use this method if you're a creator and want to check how many viewers your Public Story has.[6]
    • Always be sure to post within Snapchat's guidelines and avoid uploading any personal or identifiable information to stay safe.
  2. This will be at the top-left corner, regardless of which tab you're in.[7]
    • A new page will open.
  3. This should be above the My Stories header.[8]
    • The Insights and Replies page will open.
  4. You'll see the number of viewers, both followers and non-followers, next to the eyeball icon. You can also see how many replies you received, and if any users took a screenshot.[9]
    • Tap a reply underneath Story Replies to view or send a reply to a user.
    • Underneath My Friends, you'll see added friends that have seen your Public Story.
