If you no longer want a skin or emote purchase on Fortnite, you can use Return Tickets to get your V-Bucks back. If you don't have any tickets, you can refund the item as long as it's within 24 hours and you haven't equipped it yet. Here's how to refund Fortnite skins and emotes from the Item Shop.

Things You Should Know

  • To refund items on Fortnite, open the menu and go to "Settings" → "Support and Refunds" → "Return or Cancel Purchase".
  • You can use a Return Ticket to refund up to 3 skins or emotes purchased with V-Bucks.
  • If you haven't equipped the item yet, you can select "Cancel" to refund without a Return Ticket.
  1. Launch Fortnite. You can refund or return purchases made in the Item Shop and get your V-Bucks back.
  2. In the newest update, this will be in the top-right corner of the lobby.

  4. You can find this underneath Reporting.
  5. A new page will open with a list of purchases eligible for a refund.
    • Only items purchased with V-Bucks within 30 days can be refunded using a return ticket.
    • If the item has been purchased within 24 hours and you haven't equipped the item in gameplay yet, you can cancel and refund without using a return ticket.
  6. This will be next to the item you want to refund.
    • If you're canceling an item, you'll see Cancel next to the eligible item instead.
  7. This will confirm you want to use a Return Ticket.
    • You can only have three (3) Return Tickets at one time.
    • When you use a Return Ticket, you can earn a new one in 365 days.
  8. You'll see the amount of V-Bucks credited back to your account on the Success screen.[1]
    • If the purchase was not made by you, you'll need to contact Epic Games or your console's platform support team.
