This wikiHow teaches you how to see fewer posts on your news feed from a friend or someone you follow. You can unfollow or snooze them temporarily to stop seeing their posts, or you could unfriend them to remove them as a friend completely.

Open Facebook. Navigate to https://www.facebook.com/ on a browser, or open the Facebook app on your phone or tablet. -

Click or tap the Friends icon under the cover photo to the right. It looks like a person with a checkmark. -

Select Unfollow. You will now stop seeing their posts on your news feed. If you are friends, you will remain friends.- This icon will not appear if you are not friends with them. Instead, click the button that says Unfollow.

If you are friends, you will remain friends.- You can also choose to unfollow someone from this menu instead of snoozing them for 30 days by selecting Unfollow. This stops their posts permanently from appearing on your news feed.
